Established in 2006, Helsel is South Korea’s largest company in drone R&D, manufacturing and distribution.
In 2011, Helsel signed a business agreement with DJI, which holds 70% of the global consumer market share.
In 2015, Helsel established the Research Institute Company 151, an R&D Center located in Jeonju.
In 2018, Helsel became the first drone company in South Korea to achieve sales of more than 16.7 billion won, growing into the best drone company in Korea.
As of 2023, the headquarters and R&D center are integrated and operated in Hanam.
In addition to introductory drones, we are expanding our business to professional industrial drones used in various industries, including agricultural spraying drones, vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) and fixed-wing drones, as well as drones used for disaster and safety control, structure inspection, surveying, construction and civil engineering, along with underwater drones for underwater exploration and survey. Beyond the manufacturing and market supply of drone hardware, we are also South Korea’s exclusive supplier of PIX4D, a geospatial information software that maximizes the (area of use) of drones.
